Athens is a small town in the south central – eastern part of the state. It’s borders resemble the #4. Rt. 35 runs north – south in a diagonal direction through the town.

10/9/2023 Drove through this town while coming from the town of Brookline. We used the Brookline Rd. which is a nice dirt road that follows Grassy Brook. We took pictures of the town school before connecting with Rt. 35. We did not explore the southern part of Rt. 35. We did not see a towns sign.
