We are very excited to announce that for our 68th Annual Meeting, our special guest speaker will be Barbara Ann Cochran! Barbara Ann, who grew up in Vermont, is part of the world famous “Skiing Cochrans”. During her skiing career, Barbara Ann won three World Cups, an Olympic gold medal in slalom at the 1972 Winter Olympics and was inducted into the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame. Barbara Ann’s son, Ryan Cochran- Siegle, recently won the silver medal in the 2022 Winter Olympic super-G event.

 After retiring from skiing, Barbara Ann went on to write articles for The Washington Post, has been a skiing coach, and was the director of the ski school at Cochran’s Ski Area in Richmond, VT. Cochran’s Ski Area, which is the first non-profit ski area in the United States, holds a special place for many for being where they have gone to learn to ski, train and spend time with family and friends.
