Searsburg is another square parcel of land in the southern part of Vt. Rt 9 runs east to west through the middle of town. Rt 8 runs north to south from Rt 9. Searsburg has an important hydroelectric plant on FR 71 which leads to Sommerset Resevoir.

8/16/2023 We came in from Rt 8 for the first time, which is a very mountainous road. You can see wind generators that may also be in Searsburg. Took pictures of a cool cemetery on Rt. 8.
