Rt. 2 and Rt 14 intersect at the very northern part of this rectangular town. We have driven through Plainfield on these routes many times before joining the 251 Club. The only place I can remember stopping in Plainfield is at the Maplefields on Rt.2.

We found no town signs while headed to Bear Ridge Speedway. We were curious about a road that juts off of a corner on Rt. 2. We discovers the towns recreation fields, a nice church building and Positive Pie. We heard about this place and decided to fuel our bodies on good food, rather than track fare. We had delicious meals outside on the back deck.

Since the major routes nip the corner of the town, I feel there are many back roads for us to explore.
