Rockingham

Posted on July 9, 2022

Rockingham is another square parcel that resides in the Connecticut River Valley. I 91 and Rt 5 run paraleel with the river and acts as it’s eastern border. Rt 103 runs diagonally from Clarendon to Rockingham in a northeast-southwest direction. Rt 121 begins or ends at RT 5 and runs through the southern part of town in a more east-west direction and goes to Grafton. We have been through this town visiting covered bridges and the Vermont Country Store with Chuck n Sue. Bellows Falls is actually a township of Rockingham.

On 7/3/2022 we stopped at the Vt. Country Store to buy something for Ainsley, before visiting with them at Chuck n Sue 4th of July celebration in Northbridge, Mass.

8/6/2023 While coming back from the Foreigner concert in Mass we decided to explore more than the covered bridges and Country Store. We found the Rockingham Metting House which is on the Historic Register. It was closed but we were able to walk the premises and get some cool pictures.
