Newbury is on US. Rt. 5, North of Bradford. This town was a beautiful surprise! Entering town are stately houses and a large park next to the road. Behind the park is a church and other fine buildings. We stopped at Newbury General Store and loved it. across from the general store is a cute small brick building that houses a bank. I learned that Wells River, which is North of Newbury is not a town but a township of Newbury.
