On this day we drove through. We also drove through with Mike n Kimberly in 2019. Big area for mountain biking, and skiing. Hope to go back and explore some more. I want to find Darling State Park.

9/23/2023. After wilderness camping in Victory, Vt. with Tucker, I decided to drive up Burke Mountain. There is a campground at the base of the toll road but it isn’t Darling State Park. The State Park is at the top and primarily for hiking. There are no official campsites to drive in and camp at. There is a firetower to climb ( I did half ) and some nice panoramic views. Half way up the mountain there is a pavilion that would be great for picnics.

1/15/2024. Visited The Northeast Kingdom country Store Cafe n Antiques after checking East Haven off from our list. Ann bought a toy for the kids and we had coffee for the road.
