We drove through on a 251 road trip for Town signs. We did one of our first bike trips from the train station. There is a nice town beach along with the Holmes Creek Covered Bridge. The Lake Champlain Ferry Crossing is here also. The Lake Champlain byway is a network of roads cyclists can use to follows the lake. It is very nice. Some very nice spots to view the Adirondacks and Green Mountains. We have hiked (many times) and camped at Mount Philo State Park.
