It was a dark and dreary day. I drove through Wilder and then up route 14 along the White River to Sharon.

I also drove through Quechee and White River Junction, all part of Hartford.

Revisited with Bill on 5/13 and 14/2023: beautiful weekend, blue skies and warm. We stayed at the Coolidge Hotel in downtown White River Junction, which was much more appealing than the last time I was here. We had dinner at Thyme restaurant then walked along the railroad tracks and then over the bridge on Maple St to New Hampshire. Maria surprised me by showing up for Mother’s Day and spent the night in the hotel with us. The next morning we had breakfast at the King Arthur Flour Cafe
