We have many fond memories of camping at Lake Elmore State Park. We have paddled and swam in the lake. We have hiked Elmore Mountain and the fire tower. As a photo intern I was asked to mentor a kid. We were fortunate enough to photograph and meet Mrs. Vermont. Since that time Dorilee Leblanc has become friends with Ann and I. She even visited Mrs Vermont ( mom ) of 1959 on Doralee’s birthday.

2/7/2024. Finally stopped at the Elmore Genral Store while coming back from Cabot via Woodbury n Calais. No pictures of the store but I did get one of the small school across the street.
