Colchester

Town line is not far from the Chimney Corners garage where I used to work. We have ridden the Colchester Causeway on our bicycles several times. We have hiked Niquette Bay State Park several times as well.

Surprised Ann by chartering a 2 day, 2 night sailboat cruise out of Malletts Bay in Colchester for her retirement from Franklin County Home Health after 30.

After returning from Valcour Island, Ny. for lunch, we returned to Malletts Bay for a swim before the Lahaie’s, and the Laber’s surprised Ann with a visit aboard the Yacht. The Captain prepared us dinner before watching fireworks from the bow of the boat.

We slept on board at our mooring and sailed for St. Albans Bay the next day. ( see St. Albans town notes )

When we returned to Colchester we stopped at the Pickled Perch for a late lunch and then headed to the Village Scoop on Rt.2 for ice cream.

We came back later to deposit our 251 rock on the bulletin board at the Moorings Marina, making Colchester an official visit.
