Rt’s 302 and 14 cross or travel through Barre town. 302 travels east n west while 14 runs north n south through most of the state. Rt 110 is off of 302 and will take you to Washington, Chelsea and Tunbridge before ending in Royalton

We have visited Robin’s Nest covered bridge off of 302 with Chuck n Sue. Thunder Road is in Barre town. nn and I attended a square dance convention at the high school in 2017. I have been going to Thunder Road since I was a kid and have so many memories from that track. Mom raced there. I have driven moms car onto the track and spun it out. I have driven my mixer around the track and I have driven a Rusty Wallace Experience car around the track. On 7/15/21 we used 4 free tickets from VSEA to invite Robert n Marcell Whitcomb to the Governor’s Cup and catered BBQ. VSEA sponsored the race that Governor Scott raced in. An interesting twist, since VSEA is negotiating a promise to be fulfilled with our pensions. Ryan Preece from NASCAR raced that night and finished outside the top 10. Governor Scott had an off night and finished in the back.
