I felt like this was a place where a different direction could just lead you to somewhere new.  I really felt like I was lost in the woods. Where the barns seem to be taken care of and cherished.  I was reading a monument dedicated to the men that died in the war. I found it interesting that two people were listed as having died of starvation.  I have read other monuments and find it impressive that so many men we called to fight and they did. Seems like a sense of duty and honor was strong in our Vermont men.
