We traveled down Route 22 A from Vergennes.

We stayed in the Shoreham Inn. The owners, Kevin, and Scott, are new and very nice. Route 74  continues on to the Fort Ticonderoga ferry which you can take over to Ticonderoga, NY. We also passed the apple orchard on Route 74

10/5/24: we took the Fort Ti ferry over to Ticonderoga on our way to Ithaca. The ferry stopped running for the season the next day.
