We entered South Hero on the West Shore Road driving south from Grand Isle.  Drove south past Eagle Camp and Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.  My Uncle Bill built and lived in the house that is now Ta-Kum-Ta.  Had quite a few Thanksgiving meals there!  The second floor was home to the former Chicken Bone bar!  Continued south past the Snow Farm Vineyard and Winery and the magical Bird House Forest.  Turned north on South Street past Allenholm and Hackett Orchards.  No, we did not stop at Hackett’s for a delicious cider donut! 🙂  We stopped stopped at the post office and mailed our post card.  Headed home!
