Another stop at the post office to mail postcard.  We stopped at the Hyde Log Cabin and Schoolhouse.  Hard to believe members of the Hyde family lived in that cabin for 150 years!  Headed over to Gordon’s Landing, where the ferry docks.  Gordon’s Tavern is just up the road, but is now used by the Vermont Fish and Game for offices and a training center.

We took the West Shore road south along the lake, to South Hero.
