I had not planned a trip to Westminster, but one rainy Saturday morning in June 2025, I stopped at the Westriver Farmers Market in Londonderry to pick up a few things and promptly forgot my wallet at the last stand were I picked up a cucumber and some really delicious tomatoes.

Later in the day I realized and after some frantic emails I figured out that the stand were I had left the wallet was that of Old Athens Farm which is based in Westminster. I picked up the phone and called them. Rebecca picked up and promptly informed me that they had my wallet. So off I went on a 1 hour drive one way, to pick up my wallet. When I got there, Mike kindly gave me a quick tour of their green house.

I’ll be sure to buy lots more veggies from them at our local market in Londonderry!!

On my way back home I stopped at the town hall for the usual picture and also discovered the historical Law Office of William Czar Bradley.

Parish Hill Creamery, who make delicious cheeses and sell at many farmers markets are also located in Westminster.
