- Home of Singelton’s General Store, an iconic institution – the smell of their house-made pepperoni instantly transports me back to the first times I visited VT in 2006 and was first introduced to Singleton’s by my first husband
- Home of the infamous Phineas Gage accident – the Cavendish Historical Society Museum will sometimes put on events that include a walk to the site were the accident happened and there is a monument in the town to the event – I participated in one once
- Grafton Village Cheese has a store here (May 2025) – I must go in there some time
