- I lived here for 13 years from 2009 until 2022 before moving to Londonderry, VT, in 2024 upon returning from Germany
- Home of the Okemo Mountain Resort at which I learned to snowboard
- In the winter of 2009/08 I snowboarded every single trail on the mountain, 113 at the time
- Ever since then I have looked for a new challenge and was so happy to embark on visiting every single town in VT!!
- Rt. 100 and 103 pass through the town
- Visit the Green Mountain Sugar House for the best Maple Creemee and Maple Syrup!
