Once again it is hard to say the first time I visited Northfield. I have family in Northfield and have been traveling there to visit since 1956.

Good places to visit:

Brown Public Library which opened in 1906

The three covered bridges in Northfield Falls

Norwich University frequently has events open to the public such as a quilt festival.  It also home to the Sullivan Museum and History Center.

The annual Labor Day weekend festival and parade on the town common is another great event.
