Karen and I visited Berlin today. Our first stop was at the Wayside, and we were seated across from the sign which shows half the restaurant is in Montpelier and the other half is in Berlin. We drove by the Travelers Service Center which is a good place for travelers to stop. We moved down the street to the First Congregational church which was established in 1798. We passed by the Berlin Corner Cemetery and the Edward F. Knapp State Airport.
It is hard to say when I first visited as I have been visiting the Barre area since my birth in 1956 as both my parents are from Barre.
