Pownal is basically square in its borders. It is the most southwester town in Vt. NY is it’s western border while Mass is it’s southern border. Rt 7 goes down the middle if the town.

8/16/2023 Was the very first time that either of us had been to Pownal. We gave up on going to Maine for Ann’s birthday because of rain. Pownal was looking pretty boring until we took Rt 346 and Cedar Hill Rd. Beautiful views! We made a big loop and came back on Rt 7 where we stopped at Winchester’s General Store.
