Westminster is a town in the Conneticut River Valley. I 91 and Rt 5 run paralell with the Connecticut River in a north-south direction.

8/6/2023, This is a town that we have only driven through and leaves room for more exploration.  The Westminster Rd is a road of interest and the Hungry Diner on Rt 5 looks to be a place we need to eat at. I hope to take more pictures and explore this town more.

8/16/2023. Drove through town again but got a picture of the town hall. Noticed a couple of historic markers

#2 – 5/26/2024

While trying to locate the quarry in Putney that we swam in as kids, we came across Fred Robling, ( see Putney page ) who told us about Ted Williams former home on Pine Banks Rd.

Since it was on our way out, we stopped and took pictures from the driveway and considered it something new that we haven’t done on our first trip.

5/27/2024

Westminster was not on our list of towns to visit, so we did not have a 251 rock to drop. We made one on our way home and dropped it on a memorial to William Czar Bradley that is at the town hall on Rt 5.
