Strafford is another square parcel of land that is situated like a diamond. The town lies in the middle east part of the state. Rt. 132 nips the southeast corner of town and starts or ends in Sharon. It is a good climb coming from Sharon. From South Strafford you must take a left and head north on Justin Morrill Memorila Highway. A huge meeting house sits on a hill at the top of a fork in the road. Aside from the Justin Morrill homestead, there isn’t much here. Surprisingly we did find a town sign. There is more going on in South Stafford on Rt 132. Justin Smith Morrill was a Vt congressman who served for over 40 years. It was the first time we had been through this town
