11/5-6/2022.

Took advantage of surprisingly good November weather and Ann’s women retreat to go camping n kayaking alone. All of Somerset and Somerset Resevoir are in the GMNF.  Found a secluded campsite on FR 71. It was a windy day but I located the Resevoir and briefly kayaked. Explored the Airfield Campground and all of FR 71. Huge wilderness area!

10/8/2023. While camping at Grout Pond, I took Ann n Tucker to Sommerset to see the resevoir, my previous camping spot, and to check out FR 325 which goes into Glastenbury. It’s official; we have both been to Somerset together
