Fayston is off of Rt. 100 and sits between Moretown and Waitsfield. The only state road that goes through town is Rt. 17 which runs East and West.

On 4/10/22 we did a little 251 loop that started in Waterbury, and included Fayston. We journeyed up North Fayston Rd. searching for a village and, or towns sign. No luck, Most of the roads are dirt, and it was Spring, making the roads a little too muddy for our comfort. We did get a picture of the municipal town sign. I always thought of this town as a place to hunt but some of the ski areas like Mad River Glenn are here. Rt. 17 which goes over the spine of Vt., lies within its borders, making for some good hiking. Part of Camels Hump State Park and the Long Trail belong in Fayston.
