Bradford

Rts. 25 and US 5 intersect in Bradford. On 4/27/22, while on our way to Campton, Nh. for our 11th anniversary, we took the long way and drove down Rt 25 into Bradford. We had never been to the famous Farm Way store, so we stopped in. It reminded me of the Pick and Shovel in Newport. They have everything from soup to nuts. We bought a Fred Swan painting for the house. Bradford is home to Valley Vista and Bear Ridge Speedway. Josh Riggs and I ate and enjoyed lunch at Colatina Exit Trattoria after dropping a client off at Valley Vista.

Grieving the loss of our beloved Mia, we realized we couldn’t stay home. While at Cody’s for breakfast, we decided to zig zag the state and go to a race at Bear Ridge Speedway. New England Antique Racers were there with many old race cars, including a Stub Fadden #6 Ford. Sprint Cars of New England were also there. The racing was mediocre, but it was better than being home.
