8/3/2019 Visited Mike n Kim on Newark Pond and they took us for a ride in the NEK with Kim’s Jeep. Did some hiking by the pond.

3/7/2021. Mike n Kimberly live on Newark Pond. Ted Bowen lives on a backroad in Newark. There are some nice views of Burke Mnt. from his road. On this trip we stumbled onto Ted’s house by accident. We were able to offer our condolence. Ted recently had lost his son to an auto accident.

7/1/2021. Car camped with Brutas on Mike n Kimberly’s property at Newark Pond. We used their home as a base camp for exploring towns we had only driven through.

7/4/2022 Drove all the way from Chuck n Sue’s in Northbridge Mass. to watch the July 4th fireworks with Mike n Kimberly on Newark Pond.

7/29/2023. Visited Mike n Kim and they took us through the NEK to pick off more towns.

#2 8/23-24 /2025 What else is there for us to do in Newark besides seeing our friends Mike n Kimberly? It had been close to a year since we camped with them at Brighton State Park. We had a good Saturday building one another up in our faith and learning more about their homesteading lifestyle. In the evening we each made personal pizzas with the organic ingredients they grew in their garden. Mike wanted to relive the fun he and I had as kids making personal pizzas with pizza quick sauce, english muffins and whatever else we could find in the kitchen. We brought Brutas and slept in their front yard by the pond.
