I have seen sucker brook trail, while passing through on Rt 2a. After a Dr. appointment in Essex, and getting a haircut from Ari in Williston, I decided to hike a trail I had never been on. Sucker Brook Trail is a nice meandering of moderate ascent. There are nice bridges over streams and an old stone wall. At the top is a nice view of Williston, Lake Champlaiin and the Adirondacks. It was a warm but cloudy winter day, so the view was not pristine. A nice hike none the same,

#2 7/23/2025 We had never paddled Lake Iroquois. On a whim we decided to paddle it after my Dr. apt at Aler Brook. It was a gorgeous day with a nice breeze until we got off the water. Dropped a 251 rock o. The dock. After that we checked out the town beach and headed home only go to St.A for a co cert in the park. A good day!
