A nice 4 season town. Ann and I celebrated our wedding by having dinner at the Von Trapp Family Lodge. 10 years later we celebrated at the Beirhall. Plenty of things to doin this town. We have visited all the places of interest mentioned above and then some. we used the State Park as base camp for our covered bridge tour. A lot of nice restaurants along the bike path. I once rode on the nike path and then hiked Mount Mansfield where I saw a wonderful sunset and a full moon rising at the same time. We have escaped the summer heat and had picnics at the old Smugglers Notch State Park. The Long Trail intersects with a brook at the park. It is here that a tree still stands where dad carved our initials in.

10/20/2022 Ann n I took mom and Everett to the Trapp Family Lodge  for appetizers

3/25/2023 We used our Trapp Family Lodge gift card given to us by Paul n Sheila and snow shoed 6 miles round trip to a cabin in the woods for lunch. our eceipt was written on birch bark which we provided. It was the first time anyone brought their own birch bark. I was so proud! lol
