Pittsfield

3/4/2018 We visited The Giorgetti Covered Bridge in Pittsfield VT., It is a 55 foot span over the Tweed River. The bridge is part of John Giorgetti’s driveway. John built the bridge in 1976.

10/12/2020 Stopped here after a delay leaving Chittenden Reservoir. (Fixed a broken cargo rack). We couldn’t find a camping spot close by. Decided to drive North and find one beside Rt. 100. Saw wood for sale in Pittsfield. Bought last 2 bundles. Owner gave us directions to Forestry Rd 35 where we found the last campsite. Nice spot hidden from the road. Could hear Michigan Brook in the distance. Temps dipped into lower 30’s. Ran out of fuel so we packed up early and headed to the original Country Store where we got coffee and breakfast.
