Isle Lamotte is a small island in northern Lake Champlain. Rt 129 is the only State road that goes to it
Nice little drive for us when we need a short drive out of town. Safe and scenic place for cycleing. Ann and I did the island loop on our bikes. We stopped at Fiske Quarry where you can see ancient fosils embeded in the rock. Wenalso stopped at a cafe and apple orchard. We discovered Mama Dog’s snack bar on a later drive around the island. We have taken part in an outdoor service at St. Anne’s Shrine.
