Hubbardton is a bell shaped parcel of land and has a portion of Lake Bomoseen as it border. Rt 30 runs down the middle of Hubbardton. We usually drive through on Rt. 30, but we have camped at Half Moon Pond, and hiked Taconic Rambles State Parks. On 4/28/21, we kayaked Lake Hortonia. It was our first time at this lake and our first paddle for the year. Rt 144 runs East and West and is a very scenic ride through hill and dale. Camped at Half Moon Pond on a cold n rainy Memorial Day weekend 2021.
