Hartland is a rectangle parcel of land that borders the Connecticut River. Rt 5 and I 91 follow the river north n south. Rt 12 runs diagonally through in a north n south direction.
We Became family friends with Mark n Shirley Coutermarsh after mom’s car broke down in front of their store.
8/18/2018 we visited Martins Mill Covered Bridge and Willard Covered BridgeS with Chuck n Sue
7/10/21.Ann n I returned to locate the Coutermarsh’s home and to see the old store, which is now a pottery gallery. Ann talked to the owner of the pottery and was familiar with Mark, who once owned the store with his brother
8/18/201 We have also been to the Martins Mill Covered Bridge and Willard Covered BridgeS with Chuck n Sue on 8/18/201
On 7/10/21 we picked up physical therapy equipment from Ann’s colleague who retired. We had lunch at the Hartland Diner and had a wonderful experience with an all women owned and operated restaruant. We also explored the town a little more by going to Hartland Lake.
