Rt’s 22A and 17 intersect in Addison. 22A travels in a north to south direction, while 17 flows in an east to west direction. Rt 17 also goes through the Dead Creek Wildlife Refuge on the way to the Crown Point Bridge and the NY border.

On this day, April 26, 2021, we drove through on our way to Fair Haven. We were celebrating our 10 anniversary and picking off towns as we went.

I helped build the Crown Point Bridge, I stayed at D.A.R. State Park and at SDI’s batch plant while working on the bridge. Ann n I paddled Dead Creek on a hot July day in 2020 while camping at Mt. philo.. We have stopped at West Addison General Store and the Addison Four Corners Store. We want to hike Snake Mountain someday for a killer view of the Adirondacks.
