Took a picture at the post office on Route 5. Across the street is the Newbury Village Store. You can wander out back on the lawn which has a view looking east/southeast. Newbury was founded by Jacob Bayley of Bayley Haven Rd fame and who was an also a revolutionary war hero according to the historic marker. There is a town green which is good for walking.

Heading north on Route 5, the village of Wells River, which is part of Newbury,  is at the intersection of Route 302 and the bridge leads to NH.
