Part of the trip to Cavendish, where we spent the night. We drove down Route 103 and stopped at the Rockingham Meeting House and cemetery.  Took a picture there. The meeting house is on the National Register of Historic Places. Many in the cemetery were buried in the mid-1800’s.  Both are up on a hill with an overlook just off of Route 103

From there we drove down to Saxton’s River village and then the village of Bellows Falls. We had breakfast at the Moon Dog Cafe, which was worth the drive. We walked down to the train station and it was just opening up when we got there. We were told by the woman who opened up the station that it is going to be renovated and restored in the near future.  The Vermonter stops there, traveling from Essex, VT (and up to St Albans?) to DC. We walked up the side street from Canal Street and stopped at the Village Square Book Store.
